Crochet bunting, Yarn Along And Pretty Flowers

Hi Guys :) This week i am joining in with  Yarn Along
for some reason the wee button thing-a-ma-jig won't show up! :/

This was my project yesterday, i painted the wall pink and finally put up my flower canvases, i've had them for a while but didn't know what to do with them, and it occurred to me to make a feature wall out of the! And look how lovely it is! :) 
The room instantly looks brighter, but soft at the same time , and it really makes me happy when i see it :) I'm not normally a pink person, but for this i shall make an exception
I think the wall may need another coat but i shall do that later.
I'm thinking a lovely soft gray for two of the walls on each side
I was thinking about crocheting a bunting to go over the mantel and i forgot this one was hanging up on the window  
Continuing with the flower theme i made myself a new coaster

If you go to my Pinterest board for crochet you may notice i have a slight obsession with bunting at the minute haha :)

I'm also making some pretty star bunting for Christmas. i like to start early :) I have another board dedicated to it :)

    I love the stars. I've just got Bear's jumper to finish then I'm making a start on some 'indestructable' Christmas decorations so I might give them a try. X

      Aren't they sweet? I bought the makings for mulled wine today too! :D
      My cat decided to do a runner a while back so i don't get to worry about whether the tree will be ruined :( but it was kind of fun putting them back together lol xx

      Isn't it great? Every time i read i mumble to myself about the injustice of it all, and then when they start getting their own back i'm like "woohoo!You go girl" haha :)

Hi guys :)  I am part of a community growers group, and over the next year or so we are going try and make our village look nicer and have an edible garden and flower beds.  Co Durham council are going to stop planting flowers in the flower beds on our main street, due to budget cuts, so we got the idea of putting things in the beds ourselves, including lots of herbs, and fruit bushes along the green. Drama!

Hi guys, sorry i haven't been around much this week, i've been a very bad blogging neighbour, but i will try and get around everyone's blogs this evening (This is my new mantra) What a bloody week! First, i was awoken by the Bearded Wonder in the early hours on Sunday morning having chest pains and violently shivering, my poor hubby has a heart murmur, so this was doubly worrying, though i distinctly remember saying "what do you expect me to do about it?" thinking he was just cold (i'm not a great thinker when i've just woken up lol) then grumpily told him to go make me a cup of tea to get his circulation going , then i sort of got my act together, 999 was called and i was instructed to give him 4 aspirin and wait for the ambulance to turn up. Bullet Journalling, Seed Preparing And Yarning Along

Hi guys :) The other day, while scrolling through Pinterest, i came across the idea of a  Bullet Journal   The basic idea is to condense everything into one handy little book, if you click the link it will explain it much more succinctly than me. There's a video too :) This is a great journal for me as i can personalize how i like, everything is in one place and this year i may actually manage to be organized! I created my own little planner from an old hard back book that was falling apart I covered it in pretty wallpaper samples and added a pocket to slide in the blank notebook i got for Christmas And added a little cartoon me :) I am following the idea of the bullet journal for the most part, but the beauty of it is you can personalize it exactly to your needs I created a layout that suited me, with morning, afternoon and evening sections and my own little colour code system at the bottom, though this may change depending on if i f...
